A stone’s throw from the campomarino marina, Tayga Beach integrates harmoniously into that part of Salento that can enchant you with its natural, artistic and historical beauties: Roman archaeological sites, walls and necropolis, baroque churches, farms and coastal towers, trulli and villas in the art and art of art, medieval villages.
Located on the enchanting coast of Salentina, Tayga Beach conveys the essence of Mediterranean culture both in its gastronomy and in the warmth of service. The white sand dunes, the blue and crystal clear sea and the warmth of the sun present practically all year round make our beach club the ideal location for an unforgettable holiday.
Protected and unspoiled NATURA
Nature lovers can choose from the coastal natural areas of Campomarino (the D’Ayala pine forest in front of the house is a site of community interest and the Campomarino Dune Nature Park at 2 km), those inland (Bosco Cuturi and Rosamarina about 12 km), the natural areas of the Rivers Borraco (6 km) and Chidro (16 km), the Salina dei Monaci (20 km) with pink flamingos and , continuing south towards Gallipoli, the Count’s Marsh, the coastal dunes of Porto Cesareo, the Captain’s Marsh and Wild Harbour with its cliffs.
Named one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, Maruggio is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the area that won the Blue Flag in 2019. Blue Flag is a voluntary eco-label assigned to beach resorts that meet criteria related to the sustainable management of the territory.
Campomarino is a seaside resort that developed near the coastal tower and the small fishing and tourist port. It is certainly known and appreciated for its clean sea and its sandy beaches but it is also worth exploring the other tourist attractions in the immediate vicinity and visiting it in the off-season: the busiest months are July and August but those where you really enjoy the sea are June and September and often you can swim for the whole month of May and October.
